Tune in, Let Go: Meet Kaitlyn Power, Guiding Resonance
New York, NYC – October 2025 – There are moments in life when grief hums beneath the surface of your skin, and silence feels too loud to bear. That’s where sound steps in. For Kaitlyn Power, a proud resident of Inwood, Washington Heights, sound began as survival.
“I’ve gone through immense grief and loss in the last couple of years,” Kaitlyn shares softly. “Sound meditation helped me process that pain and, more importantly, escape my body when everything was just too heavy to hold.”
In those quiet rooms filled with vibration and breath, Kaitlyn found her way back to herself. Now, she’s creating that same space for others, spaces that feel safe, sacred, and deeply human.
The Healing Power of Sound
Every tone, every vibration, carries a frequency meant to remind the body how to rest. The crystal bowls hum. The chimes echo. The air itself begins to soften. For a few moments, the world slows, and peace finds a way back in.
“The sound washes over you,” Kaitlyn explains. “Sometimes you see colors, sometimes you feel emotion. But even if you walk away just a little more relaxed, that’s enough. That’s healing.”
This practice is about presence. It’s about allowing your body to release, your heart to open, and your spirit to remember what calm feels like again.
From Grief to Grace
Kaitlyn is emerging as a fresh new voice in sound healing, guided by purpose… to make wellness feel human, honest, and accessible for all.
Before each session, she tends to the energy of the room with care: cleansing the space with sage or palo santo, adjusting the lighting, checking the temperature, and grounding everyone with gentle words that connect them in community.
When the sound settles and the room quiets, she closes the practice by inviting everyone to pull an oracle card which serves as a simple, soulful ritual that gives each person something meaningful to carry home.
Her intention is simple and beautiful:
“I just want people to feel a little lighter than they did when they entered the room.”
The Call of Community
We are living in a time when everyone is searching for peace, meaning, and connection. So much of life has made us forget how to be with ourselves, and with each other. Sound baths remind us. They call us back to our bodies, our breath, and our shared humanity.
“There’s no right or wrong way to do this,” Kaitlyn says. “All you have to do is show up and be present with yourself. The rest is magic.”
The kind that happens when strangers breathe together. When a single vibration becomes a shared stillness. When someone who arrived tense, guarded, and tired and leaves open, soft, and free.
Why This Moment Matters
At Culture Lime, we believe wellness isn’t wellness unless everyone can access it. Healing shouldn’t be hidden behind paywalls or privilege. It should live in the community, in shared spaces filled with culture, art, and love.
That’s why we gather. To remind each other that healing can look like laughter, stillness, or song. That connection is the cure.
