The Story of Culture Lime
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Culture Lime reimagines how people connect through culture by hosting accessible live experiences across cities and countries that are unmistakably ours—interactive, celebratory, and alive.
Culture comes alive when people gather to share their stories, music, art, and care for one another. Lime, a Trinidadian word meaning to gather, reflects how community forms naturally through presence, openness, and shared experience.
Through workshops, residencies, performances, gatherings, and volunteer opportunities, we use art, wellness, and learning to rebuild what has been lost. Our experiences are designed to spark collaboration, restore joy, and empower communities to imagine and create a better future. In these spaces, you might find someone dancing to live music for the first time in months, a volunteer helping a stranger set up a workshop, or a group co-creating art that tells their shared story. Strangers arrive carrying the weight of their days and leave lighter, inspired, and reminded that they belong.
Without spaces like this, the world loses connection, creativity, and the joy of shared culture. Loneliness grows, stories go untold, and communities slowly fray. Culture Lime exists because of people, because of those who show up, share their gifts, and care for one another.
We need you in it. Join us to create, to share, to volunteer, or simply to be present. Together, we make belonging, creativity, and shared humanity possible for everyone, everywhere.
