Born and raised in New York City, Papi.Wav (pronounced papi wave) is a queer Caribbean DJ who brings the sounds of his upbringing to the dance floor. You might recognize samples from your favorite 90’s and 00’s songs with a medley of vogue crashes, deep reggaeton bass and old school house grooves. His sets are designed to move bodies, spark joy, and turn every room into a sweaty, collective release.

Over the years, Papi.Wav has brought his sound to a range of vibrant stages, from DJing the song release celebration for Justine Skye to serving as the touring DJ for boundary pushing rapper Cakes Da Killa. In New York City’s nightlife scene, he’s also spun for the iconic queer party Papi Juice, further cementing his presence in spaces that celebrate community, creativity, and joy.
