The Lime Event Recap | May 28, 2026 | Rediscovering Joy

Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Lime!

In a city where everyone is rushing to the next thing, there is something special about choosing to slow down, gather in the same room, and be present with one another.

What happened that night was more than a panel discussion, live performance and party. It was a reminder that people are still looking for connection. Real connection.

The conversations were thoughtful. The music brought people together. New friendships were formed. Old friends reconnected. People stayed long after the program ended because nobody seemed ready to leave.

That kind of energy cannot be manufactured. It happens when people show up openly and create space for one another.

We are deeply grateful to our panelists, Kendra Monet, Maria Ines Taracena, NORY, and Khial Watson, for sharing their experiences, perspectives, and wisdom.

Thank you to Corina Sabbas and Edu Moro for bringing their talent and artistry into the room and helping create an atmosphere that felt both grounding and inspiring.

And thank you to Dj CAMDOOM for setting the soundtrack for the evening and carrying the energy throughout the night.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and believed in what we're building.

Every ticket purchased helps move us closer to our goal of providing 2,000 mental health kits across New York City through The Care Drop.

What began as a night of conversation and community will continue long after the event itself through acts of care that reach people across the city. If you'd like to support, you can donate HERE

Culture Lime was created from a simple belief: people need spaces where they can connect, create, reflect, and feel a sense of belonging.

Thank you for being part of it.
